Cairo - Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) registered an annual drop in consolidated net profits after tax to EGP 480.07 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2025, compared to EGP 616.83 million.

The earnings per share (EPS) retreated to EGP 2.26 in 9M-25 from EGP 2.90 in 9M-24, according to the financial statements.

Consolidated total revenues hit EGP 886.63 million in January-September 2025, signaling a year-on-year (YoY) rise from EGP 760.83 million.

The company’s total assets stood at EGP 4.81 billion as of 30 September 2025, marking a growth from EGP 4.29 billion as of 31 December 2024.

Standalone Financials for 9M

Meanwhile, EMPC recorded non-consolidated net profits after tax of EGP 517.02 million in 9M-25, compared with EGP 443.89 million in 9M-24.

The revenues jumped to EGP 665.41 million in 9M-25 from EGP 590.95 million in 9M-24, while the EPS increased to EGP 2.54 from EGP 2.11.

As of 30 September 2025, the non-consolidated total assets amounted to EGP 4.41 billion when compared with EGP 3.86 billion in the twelve-month period that ended on 31 December 2024.

Quarterly Results

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, EMPC logged YoY lower consolidated net profits after tax at EGP 120.56 million, compared to EGP 143.23 million.

Furthermore, the consolidated total revenues grew to EGP 271.92 million in Q3-25 from EGP 254.04 million in Q3-24, while the EPS decreased to EGP 0.57 from EGP 0.67.

As for the standalone results, the net profits after tax totaled EGP 68.46 million in the July-September 2025 period, lower YoY than EGP 86.05 million.

Non-consolidated revenues climbed to EGP 204.59 million in Q3-25 from EGP 192.86 million in the same period last year, while the EPS shrank to EGP 0.32 from EGP 0.41.

It is worth noting that in the first half (H1) of 2025, the consolidated net profit after tax of EMPC fell by 24.26% to EGP 359.51 million from EGP 473.59 million in H1-24.
